Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Once again this year, we at Walker's Drug Store are very glad to offer our support to the annual walk and other events that is called: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. This year the walk will be at NASCAR Hall of Fame beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29th.

The event is coordinated by The American Cancer Society and MSABC of Greater Charlotte. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer not only gives all of us the opportunity to raise money for breast cancer research but it also celebrates people who have battled breast cancer. There will be resources available that will educate us about ways to reduce our risk of this disease and ways to continue to get our communities even further involved in working toward a world with more birthdays.

We at Walker's Drug Store have already formed our own team and would welcome any of you who would like to join our team to run or walk with us. Or, just be a part of our team in any way you decide - we welcome and appreciate your support. We have the pink lapel pins in both of our stores. Stop by for yours - we would love to see you!
